Love is in the air...

This post has an unusual title when you look at the first pic. Keep scrolling down and you will know what I'm talking about. My little sidekick is all grown up (of course, she is 20 now!) and has found her a sweetheart. This is lookin' serious folks!

Bathroom Remodeling and Baby Girl took a jet plane

This pic is quite embarrassing but here it goes! (it is Lulu's job to keep it clean and she is a slacker at times)
All the fixtures have been removed (thank God) and new plumbing has been put in. I wanted to keep the huge tub (hubby was glad about that). It is deep and wide (like that Sunday School song) and soon there will be a fountain flowing from the Delta Victorian style faucets (in bronze finish).

This is sort of what the ceramic wall tile is like that hubby is putting around the tub.
The tile is 6 X 6 and a lighter gold tone.

My Lulu hopped on a plane yesterday and headed for Omaha, NE to see her feller.
This is starting to look serious, folks!

If they survive life on Bunderosa I would like to put them in the Creek County Fair this year. Wish them luck!

Heirloom Iris's

I have been looking high and low for some iris plants for a quite a while now. Last week I spotted some growing on my sisters vacant property. She told me to get all I wanted. Well you know I did! I made two flower beds around a couple of maple trees. I can hardly wait for the blooms!
