Halloween weekend

Funny Little Butterfly
My Lulu was a butterfly
My grandmunchkins were Cops and Robbers but little Chase (Robber) had an ear infection so didn't get to get in on the fun. Here is Chantry (Barny Fife?) Love it!

My trip to Canton was so much fun! I didn't buy much this time. Just something for my grandmunchkins and my girls. Boy, did I get a lot of ideas. I can hardly wait to get started changing some things around here and decorating for the holidays! My next purchase will be a good camera! I am so tired of not having a camera with a flash handy. Anyway, I plan on going back to Canton next year sometime.
Our Falloween party here at the Bunderosa was a lot of fun too! Lots of food and friends fellowship and a hayride. (Thank you, hubby). Now I am tired and ready to call it a night. A good time was had by all.

Scarecrows and a road trip

Mr. Scarecrow will be welcoming guests for our Falloween Party this weekend!
Two lovebirds nestled together on the old swing
Hubby and I took a little road trip down the Talimena Drive this past weekend.
Aside from the frequent downpours it was magnificent.
Glacier rocks
The trees were vibrant with color

Grandmunchkins and Painted Pumpkins!

The artist at work!
Chantry is pretty proud of his creation!

Chase and paint together was a disaster. So he got to use markers. Haha!
Allison bought the pumpkins for herself and the grandboys. She is such a sweet aunty!

Aren't they great?

Whimsical Fall Flag
Autumn door wreath
Porch table setting

Dried flower bouquet of roses, cockscomb and sunflowers
Old metal ice chest with my dried flowers and gourds
Hubby got us ready for those cold winter days just ahead of us
The last few apples that need to be picked and put up
My whirly-gig Roadrunner
The last of my blue morning glories growing on the rusty fence rail
Cosmos growing wildly
I wish I could say I grew this pumpkin but we had a terrible invasion of squashbugs this year that destroyed all our squash and pumpkin crops. I did manage to salvage a few ornamental gourds.
Down by the gate the gate
Galvanized tub full of marigolds that I have at our entry to our place

Slapping on the paint

My old oak dresser that I have had for a million years
Green Paint
Distress, distress, distress
This is not a very good picture. My camera doesn't work well inside. Anyway, after I distressed the dresser I went over it real good with some stain. I love it, love it, love it! Whadyathink?
