One of my garden fresh pumpkins You can remove the seeds, clean them up and roast them. I didn't mess with it
Add enough water to keep it all moist. I usually have it about an inch deep.I bake it in a 350 degree oven for about an hour or so. Remove from oven when the pumpkin flesh is tender and will shred easy.
After blending the pumpkin pulp I measured out two cups per quart size freezer bag. Perfect for pies, pumpkin bread or whatever I want to use it in. It is so very good!
You know, I have grown pumpkins before but didn't know what to do with them except make jack-o-lanterns or just use them for decorations. Thank you for posting step by step instructions. I didn't realize I could freeze the pulp!
